2012 Ginetta Junior Team Champions Douglas Motorsport have renewed their partnership with P1 Digital for the 2013 season.

Led by Wayne Douglas, a former Formula Vauxhall Champion and leading driver coach, Douglas Motorsport quickly became one of the best teams in the Ginetta Junior Championship during 2012 despite being a rookie team to the series. With the pairing of Ginetta Junior front runner Niall Murray and newcomer to the series Andrew Watson, the pair achieved podium finishes between them at almost every round during the 2012 season ensuring that Douglas Motorsport came out on top as Team Champions.

Speaking about the announcement, P1 Digital’s Paul Grogan said: “I’m delighted that Wayne has chosen to stay with us for 2013. There is no better way for anyone to compliment your work than to continue the relationship so this is something we are very pleased about. Douglas Motorsport is set to expand this season into MSV’s brand new BRDC Formula 4 Championship and this is something we are very excited to be involved with.”

“Paul did a fantastic job for us in 2012.”, said Wayne Douglas, Team Principal. “We were a new team to the Ginetta Junior Championship and his experience was key to ensuring that everything we needed was in place from our website to professionally promoting our team in the days and weeks leading up to the first round. Throughout the season Paul handled all our media related enquiries during a busy time for us between our involvement in Ginetta Junior and our Driver Development programme. We look forward to working with P1 Digital again in 2013”.
